Howard Farms began with a commitment to providing the finest quality animal feeds to farmers, using wheat and barley from their own farmlands, coupled with grain grown domestically by local tillage farmers.

Howard Farms are unique in using only native wheat, barley and oats. These are carefully blended with the finest quality assured raw materials, compounded with care in our modern Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) approved and licensed animal feed mill.

We are particularly proud of such a high level of traceability and quality through the use of native grain. As a farming family, we are delighted that this allow us to support local tillage farmers, local industries and communities, while underpinning rural enterprise and jobs in a country setting.

Howard Farms manufacture and distribute a wide variety of excellent quality livestock coarse ration mixes to the dairy, beef and sheep sectors with feedstuffs recognised in the marketplace for their high quality and proven results in the field, while having a keen eye on cost for their customers and efficiency in producing top quality livestock.

Howard Farms are a proud member of the Bord Bia Quality Assurance Scheme for feed suppliers in Ireland ensuring a high quality manufactured to an internationally recognised standard. We are also proud to hold UFAS accreditation (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme).

From small beginnings, Howard Farms are now well recognised as a quality feed supplier to farmers looking for the best return from their concentrates. We operate our own fleet of trucks to ensure prompt delivery and an excellent service to our customers from our modern milling facility. Howard Farms have now become a dedicated supplier of all branded agrochemical inputs to the tillage industry, which are “proven in the field” through our own trials on our tillage enterprise. We also have our experienced agronomist available for technical queries, crop programme design and general advice.
